One-on-one coaching for professionals in Ho Chi Minh City: interviews, presentations, meetings, and workplace writing. A clear plan, honest feedback, and progress you can measure.
No generic textbook English. We work on the situations where your career actually depends on the language.
Mock interviews, answer frameworks, and the vocabulary of the role you want. We rehearse until your answers sound natural, not memorized: strengths, gaps, salary questions, and the small talk before and after.
Openings that hold attention, clean transitions, handling objections, and disagreeing politely. Learn to speak up early and lead the room, whether your audience is in the office or on a call across time zones.
Emails, reports, proposals, and LinkedIn. You bring real documents from your work; we edit them line by line together so every session improves something you actually send.
Structured conversation practice that targets the habits holding you back: hesitation, direct translation, flat intonation. Steady, measurable work on sounding like yourself in English.
Three steps from first message to a working routine.
Fifteen minutes on Zalo or WhatsApp. We talk about your goals, your timeline, and where your English needs to perform.
A short assessment, then a written plan with milestones, session frequency, and the situations we will train first.
Sixty minutes each, in person in District 7 or online. After every session you receive feedback notes and what to practice next.
I am Arlington Santiago, a Canadian consultant living in Ho Chi Minh City. I run Solstice Strategies, a Canada–Vietnam market-entry consultancy, and I am completing a Master of International Business at RMIT Vietnam.
Before Vietnam, I served as Vice-President of a students' union responsible for a PwC-audited budget of more than $33 million, and worked as an official-languages facilitator at a Canadian international airport, helping travellers in English and French every day.
I teach business English from inside business, not from a textbook: boardroom vocabulary, negotiation tone, and the confidence to use it. That practice is now being formalized: I am completing my TESOL certification with OnTESOL, specializing in business English for adult learners. And because I am learning Vietnamese myself, I know exactly what it feels like to build a life in a new language.
Vietnam rewards the prepared.
Every engagement starts with a free 15-minute intro call. Rates depend on format and frequency, and are shared on request; message me and I will send the current rate card.
Ready when you are.
Ask for the rate cardIntermediate or above (around B1) gets the most from this coaching, because we focus on performance rather than basics. If you are unsure, the free intro call includes a quick level check.
In person in District 7 (Phú Mỹ Hưng area) at a quiet café or your office, or online from anywhere. Most clients mix both.
Sessions are 60 minutes. Once a week is the standard rhythm; twice a week works best for interview or presentation deadlines.
No. Coaching is one-on-one only, so every minute of every session is spent on your goals, your documents, and your weak points.
Sessions are English-first because immersion is the point. I can clarify in French or Spanish when needed, and my Vietnamese is improving, but we will spend our time together in English.
I am completing my TESOL certification with OnTESOL, with the methodology module under way and a business English specialization to follow. What I coach combines that formal training with real boardroom experience: I have presented to university executives, external auditors, and national media, and I teach the skills I actually use.
Tell me your goal and your deadline. I will reply with a level check, a plan, and the current rate card.
